Who We Serve–
Three distinct populations with unique needs and objectives

Sacred Winds in Siskiyou serves three interconnected communities: the natural world, youth and families, and the partners who work together to strengthen healthy and sustainable communities.
1) The Natural World
We serve the land itself—both above and underneathe it—protecting habitats, restoring ecosystems, supporting endangered species, practicing recycling and responsible resource use, and modeling regenerative, off-grid sustainability. Through hands-on kinship with nature and ecological training, Sacred Winds functions as a living demonstration site for caring for the Earth.
2) Youth and Families
We support youth—especially those facing adversity or recovering from trauma—through nature-based learning, normative culture, character development, and a virtues-over-vices approach to youth development. Through mentorship, retreats, and life-skills experiences, young people build resilience, clarity, and purpose.
3) Community Partners and Practitioners
We serve rural communities, youth-serving organizations, nonprofits, educators, the public, and civic partners by providing a natural setting for trainings, workshops, conferences, and collaborative problem-solving. Through a Solutionary™ approach that focuses on youth development, Sacred Winds strengthens community capacity and long-term well-being.
