Evergreen Village

The Evergreen Village (EV) is the heart of Sacred Winds in Siskiyou. Here you will find our residential community, training spaces, meditation and worship center, and community kitchen—together forming a living place of learning, reflection, and shared purpose.

At present, Evergreen Village includes six grandfathered structures, which we are gradually restoring and caring for as resources allow. These buildings form the foundation of our evolving off-grid intentional community. Several of the smaller units include loft spaces that serve as sleeping quarters for residents, volunteers, and visiting participants who come to learn, serve, and reconnect with nature.

At the center of the village stands the Oasis Center, a spacious gathering place designed to host trainings, retreats, community meetings, and spiritual gatherings. The Oasis Center also provides overflow lodging for overnight guests during programs and special events.

As our microgrid power system is expanded to reliably support at least 30 guests, the Oasis Center will also become available to rent for events, conferences, workshops, and retreats at reasonable rates. In keeping with our commitment to ecological and ethical living, all meals served on-site are plant-based or vegetarian. Alcohol and mind-altering substances are not permitted, reflecting our commitment to honoring life and maintaining a space of clarity, respect, and well-being for all beings.

Facility rentals will help generate independent revenue that supports the mission and long-term sustainability of Sacred Winds.

Through our partnership with Youthaven Public Ecovillage, and with the support of our sponsoring members, Evergreen Village is growing into a place where people gather to strengthen youth, restore the natural world, and cultivate resilient communities—especially within rural landscapes where such spaces are most needed.Write your text here...

SACRED WINDS Five-Pillar Framework

Our Foundation —

Alignment with the Creator Worship through good works

At Sacred Winds, our work flows from a simple conviction: spiritual alignment must be expressed through compassionate action. Rooted in alignment with the Creator, we transform sacred space into chambers of good work—serving children, restoring the land, strengthening communities, and cultivating ethical living.

Our Four Mission Goals

1. Youth Development & Character Growth

We help young people build resilience, clarity, and inner strength through coaching, retreats, and experiential learning that fosters confidence and purpose.

2. Kinship with the Land

We restore ecosystems, honor native species, and model regenerative, self-sufficient living in relationship with the land.

3. Community Wellbeing & Capacity Building

We strengthen families and communities through trainings, gatherings, and collaborative learning that expand shared capacity.

4. Ethical Living & Solutionary Practices

We cultivate compassion, integrity, and shared responsibility—equipping individuals to live ethically and act with practical, solution-focused purpose.

Our Place

Nestled in a peaceful setting, our locations offer sanctuary for nature's inhabitants and support for children in need.
